This scan will check the size and shape of the uterus, the thickness of the endometrium (lining of the womb), the size, shape and appearances of the ovaries and the appearance of the pelvic area – Correlation of the scan appearances with your normal cycle will be made – Will be transabdominal and transvaginal scan (unless TV scan declined or contraindicated) – This scan will detect any abnormalities of the uterus (the muscular part of the womb), the endometrium (the lining of the womb) and the ovaries which include, however is not limited to: Fibroids, Polyps, Adenomyosis, Polycystic ovaries, Ovarian cysts, Ovarian masses -Diagnostic scan report included.
