Pregnancy Scans

Pregnancy ultrasound scans are a safe, non-invasive way to monitor your baby’s health and development at every stage of pregnancy. Using high-frequency sound waves, ultrasound creates real-time images of your womb, allowing trained professionals to assess your baby’s growth, position, and wellbeing, as well as your reproductive organs. Ultrasound does not use radiation and is completely safe for both mother and baby.

We offer a comprehensive range of pregnancy scans to support you throughout your journey:

  • Early Pregnancy Scans (from around 6 weeks): Confirms the pregnancy, checks its location, and detects your baby’s heartbeat, offering reassurance in the early weeks.

  • First Trimester Scan (typically 11–14 weeks): Assessing your baby’s size, estimates your due date, and checks early development.

  • Second Trimester Scan (around 20 weeks): Providing a detailed assessment of your baby’s organs, limbs, and overall development. Also revealing it’s gender.

  • Third Trimester Scan (from 28 weeks onwards): Monitors growth, position, and wellbeing as you prepare for birth, while also assessing the placenta, fluid levels, and blood flow.

General Health Scans

General ultrasound scans are a safe, non-invasive way to examine the body using high-frequency sound waves. These scans can help identify causes of pain, swelling, or infection, and guide further treatment if needed.

At our clinic, we offer a range of ultrasound scans tailored to your individual needs, including:

  • Female health scans – including checks on the uterus, ovaries, and pelvic area, often used to investigate symptoms such as pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, or fertility concerns.

  • Abdominal and pelvic organ scans – to assess organs such as the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, bladder, and intestines for signs of inflammation, stones, or other abnormalities.

  • Male reproductive system scans – focused on examining the testicles, and scrotum to identify issues such as swelling, pain, or lumps.

  • Vascular scans – including DVT and Abdominal Aorta to investigate and abnormalities

  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) scans – used to assess joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments, often in relation to injuries or chronic pain.
